Whether you’re asleep, awake, bathing or running, your body needs energy. When you’re ill your vitality is sapped. When you’re working your enthusiasm is zapped.
I personally lead a hectic lifestyle in London as a TV presenter and DJ which requires a lot of vigour. Especially as I have other interests in blogging, vlogging and of course socialising. Recently I have been lacking in the energy department but with summer just around the corner (and so much more fun to be had) I don’t want to miss out on any of the above due to me being tired or weak. So allow me to introduce you to my new energy boosting buddy; adidas.
Yep, you heard me right. I have worked with adidas to co-create a bespoke workout that is specifically designed to boost your energy as part of their #WorkIt Summer Series. I love having a spring in my step and the exercise program that I created with adidas will enable that exuberant strut.
This June, over a six week period, workout moves will be revealed weekly on the adidas Women’s Facebook page allowing you (yes you) to join me on my energy boosting, upper body strengthening fitness journey.
Whilst my exercise program is not going to be revealed until June, I’m excited to share with you some snaps from my time shooting the instructional workout videos and flaunting the adidas autumn/winter collection, in a beautiful studio in Shoreditch, London.
In person, I was kept company with two bloggers and members of the #WorkIt family, Em Sheldon and Cat Meffan (pictured with me below) and an amazing team of creatives and photographers. In my mind however, I was occupied with Missy Elliot, the rapper of one of my favourite songs of all time, Work It. How fitting!
Anyway, I’m delighted to be teaming up with adidas in the latest chapter of their #WorkIt campaign, as it aims to encourage women across London and the UK to try out fresh fitness moves. I’m proud to be apart of such a movement, and as someone who loves leading a healthy lifestyle (most of the time) I actually would encourage everyone worldwide, to get involved.
